 kathleen is a young girl who is suffering over her life and trying to get through it and getting through the war. She is upset that her parents might get a divorse. she has nobody to talk to about it.Jordan

 For the picket line all these women from all over are standing in front of the white house chanting for the right to vote but the pres does not care very much.  He just lets them stand there chating and he says nothing to them.  Women back then worked very hard so they should have the right to vote.  Amy

 kathleen's mom and aunt clarie got arrested from protesting for womens rights. kathleen is scared because her best friend is far away from her and she is only at home with her dad. her mom gets excused but she refuses to leave she wants to prove womens rights. Jordan

April 26

Alma got married at the age of 18 to a guy she read to in the hospital named Cyril Eddington.  Kat’s family, Alma’s family, and Auntie Claire came to her wedding.  Then Kat came back to the US.  She began he studies at Raddcliffe collage. She majored in   archeology. Kat kept going on the picket line.   Later she died.  On her grave she requested it to say Ain’t I a women.   Amy
