My opion on the picket line!  I think it is not fair for women to have to stand in front of the white house everyday no matter the weather and chant for the right to vote.  They are working very hard to try to get the right to vote.  And alls the present does is just lets them stand there and he does not say anything to them.  They are working hard for practically nothing.  I think the women should get what they want the (right to vote).  Don't you think these women deserve the right to vote.  Reading this book will let you see how hard women had to work just to get the right to vote.  By: Amy
I think that These women deserve to be able to vote. I think kathleen shouldn't be afraid of what her friends think if she tyries to talk to her about what shes giong through and if her friends just laugh or don't care about her maybe shes not a true friend and she needs to find some better friends like someone that trust her, listens to her, helps her with her problems, and doesn't laugh or make fun of her. My opinion is talking about the aunt claire and her daughter Alma. I can't beileve that Uncle bayard kidnapped the kids and took them to ashmont. I don't even know where that is! Logan
I sooooooo can not beileve Kathleen Bowen's mother was in jail for two months! When I read that it was scary! And how Kathleen wrote letters to her and missed her very much. I thought that was so sad! If my mommy was in jail I would visit her every single day, bring her gifts, write letters to her(even tough I would see her every day) and Iwould cry because she wouldn't be there for me.(Logan)
i still can not get over that Kat's mom went to jail . i think that the people from the picket line did not desurve to go to jail. i think that they had the right to stand up for what they think is right. daria
I fell really bad for these women i mean they just want the right to vote but during that some go to jail  and other bad things happen.  I mean alls they want is to be able to vote is that so hard to give.  The women are standing ouside every day no matter the weather chanting for the right to vote and President Wilson is being so stuborn not letting them vote.  I feel bad for them having to work so hard for nothing.
